- 1/2 cup peanut butter (we used almond butter)
- 1/4 cup olive oil (coconut oil works also works great)
- 1/2 cup soft brown sugar
- 1/4 cup golden syrup
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 cups oats
- 1/2 cup hemp hearts
How to make hemp seed flapjack.
Heat oven to 170c, grease and line a 8×8 inch baking tin.
In a large bowl combine oats and hemp hearts, then set to one side.
In a pan on a low heat combine all the other ingredients, stir until melted and smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and thoroughly stir together until completely combined then pour into prepared tin, pushing down until level and compact.
Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes, don’t let it over brown or it’ll go too hard.
When ready, take out the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes or so, remove from the tin, cut in to squares and enjoy these delicious hemp seed flapjacks.
At Dorset Hemp we think our organic hemp hearts can be sprinkled on any meal, sweet or savory we don’t mind…
With a light nutty taste they can be a great addition in almost any recipe!
