New Year New Approach

The beginning of a new year is like a blank page and often fills people with inspiration and motivation for a fresh start, New year new me…. this year, instead of using that as a motto we’re trying, new year new approach, because no matter what goals or resolutions are being made you don’t need a new you to achieve them.

Lets try changing our mindset.

Old Way of Thinking: I need to join a gym to get fit, lose weight.

Because of lockdown and most gyms now being closed its easy to let this get you down and just do nothing at all

New Approach: Go for a walk or run with the aim to increase your heart rate, who knows you might find a hidden gem nearby and you’ll be saving some money

Old Way of Thinking: I’m going to save loads of money this year.

For many this won’t seem possible

New Approach: I’m going to save little and often when I can. So as not to put pressure on myself, even saving a small amount will add up in the long run, and this way its easier to still achieve our goals.

Old Way of Thinking: I don’t have time for Self Care I’m too busy

If 2020 has taught us anything it is to try and make time for yourself, even if it’s just a tiny window in your day.

New Approach: Sometimes, making time for self-care is as simple as listening to a podcast on a commute or taking a nice relaxing bath, but what ever you decide to do, do it for you.
